The CRC 990, funded by the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG), aims at providing science-based knowledge on how to protect and enhance the ecological functions of tropical forests and agricultural transformation systems at a landscape scale while improving human welfare. The project cooperates with 3 Universities in Indonesia.
Research location is in Jambi province, Sumatra, Indonesia.
The project will start in early 2012.
